"Laura,
I want to thank you for the professional and keen input from all departments in Allen & Associates. I am pleased to report that as a result of the broadcast letter I have been able to interview with two companies in the construction industry. As you know, this is the industry hardest hit from the economic recession and it's an industry that has been shedding jobs and not hiring for the last few years.
Thank you for assistance in my job search.
Sincerely,
- G.H"

"Sue:
I have reviewed the changes to my Resume and Networking letter and wanted to let you and Mr. Munger know that I am extremely please with the final outcome. I feel my new resume and networking letter will represent Client Name very well in the pursuit of my new executive sales level career. So please pass along a big thanks to my writer.
Finally, I want to thank you as well for your professionalism and support in my career search. I am very pleased and happy to have you as my campaign support manager. You are thorough and prompt and I like that. I know I have chosen the right company in Allen and associates to assist with my job search. My hat is off to Nancy, you and Mr. Munger.
Later,
- Ron "

"Hi Kimberly,
I just left a voice message for you regarding this question.
I am in the midst of registering for a networking event - people in the media - my first such event is quite a while. On the registration form, it asks my title and company. I am at a loss as to what to put. Can you help illuminate me with your suggestion?
My resume is attached if you wish to refer to it. Your people did a great job with it!
Best,
- H"

"Kim, as we discussed, I accepted a job recently with Company A Name. I am the Enterprise Account Manager for the Company B Name account. This is a perfect match for my experience, skills and abilities. I found the opening using the Meta search engine on the Allen & Associates Portal. Even though this opportunity was not on the list from my initial target mailing, I used the same format to target the line of business executives at the company. I gained confidence in the style of approach utilizing the best practices I learned from my association with you as my career consultant/campaign manager. You, and everyone else I dealt with at Allen & Associates, gave me confidence in my approach and kept me focused on staying true to my passion for Energy Efficiency and companies focused on this space.
It is hard not to get discouraged in this job market and I am very happy I chose Allen and Associates to help accelerate my job search process. This is a six figure job and I am actually going to be making more that I did at my previous company.
Thanks again for all your support. I am obviously very happy I chose Allen and Associates.
- W.T"

"Hi Larry,
Hope this finds you well today!
I just wanted to share with you my sincere appreciation for all that Connan Jackson has done for me, and the progress of my campaign, as my Campaign Support Manager.
Connan has demonstrated the utmost professionalism by extending patience and kindness to me in answering all of my questions and concerns.
He is always prompt in his reply, and has never made me feel as if I was burdening him. In addition, he communicates a sincere desire to go the extra mile to ensure that I feel comfortable with the tasks at hand that we are currently working on.
I know sometimes we become so busy that we forget to stop and say a simple "Thank You" to those who have done something extraordinary for us. Please share with Connan my most sincere "Thank You" for his extraordinary kindness.
I am very grateful that I have had the opportunity to work with him!
Thanks Again!
Kind Regards,

"Hello Kimberly:
Want to let you know that I have landed at Comapany Name in sales as a client partner selling their decision tools and services for non core industries (non financial) - such as telecom, gov't, utilities, manufacturing and others, plus professional services. My territory will be the East - NE and SE.
Yipee !!!
Cheers,

"My interview went well on Friday. You offered to do some research for me on the company. I would like to take advantage of that.
I have another interview with the GM on Thursday the 10th at their City MA location.

"Hi Sue, Karen, and Randy,
I had my onsite interview with Company Name 1 on Monday. I think it went very well. The hiring director, Company Name 2 , said that he wanted to look at 3-4 more resumes over the next 7-10 days before making a decision. He went way over his allotted time with me and skipped a meeting. So, I'm cautiously optimistic. My thank you notes will go out today.
Sue, your research was invaluable, Karen, your guidance on questions posed by me worked remarkably well. Randy, your recommendations on salary discussions worked perfectly.
Today, I received an email from another Company Name 1 division. Their HR screener had conducted a phone interview with me in early September. Apparently I passed (the wheels of progress move painfully slow at times). They will contact me next week to have me travel to State for an onsite interview. It will be a final round interview. This position is at a higher level (than the one I interviewed for on Monday) with more responsibilities and is a significant stretch assignment for me in some areas. I have attached the job description. I don't think that anyone possesses all of these skills, but I have varying levels of experience in each area. The fact that they're flying me in from State for the interview indicates that I have a good chance.
You are all great! I'm fortunate to have such a fantastic team with whom to work,
Thanks again,
-S."

"Sorry things have been happening quickly in fact I have not had much time on the website as a result.
I have a final interview tonight via phone I already know the company well.
And am supposed to catch up with a senior director at a company called Company Name Maybe you all can research them more for me?
I was contacted on a lower level spot but now that I have interviewed with HR they know there may be an "unadvertised" spot for me. I have not set up that interview yet so maybe I get coaching prior to that……
Thank you for the quick response.

"Good Morning Connan, Hope you are enjoying your Labor Day Holiday. I wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the Custom Networking Letters. I can see how much research time went into preparing these letters. Please pass on my comments to the supporting staff that created these for me. "These make it worth the price of admission from your organization." I am extremely excited to mail these out, and expecting a high level of response from the companies I am submitting them to. GREAT JOB by everyone!!! Talk to you when I get home from vacation.
Regard,
-L.N."

"I hope my son Rob called you....he has been offered a JOB!!!! Company Name is hiring him to start full time on Monday!!! WE are all very relieved. I want him to work with Karen Battoe on the "1st 90 days" tutorial she does. I hope you can help him set that up.

"I wanted to thank you for everything during the last few months. I feel that I did get some benefits from your program and think others could also benefit from them as well. I know I have five years that I can use this program, but hope there is not need (don't mean that in a bad way)
Thanks again

"Dear Monica & Sue,
Just wanted to touch base... I've been busy on this end and have secured several promising interviews following our broadcast campaign. I am flying to Denver tomorrow for a final round of interviews with an ideal company, and lunch with the CEO - please wish me luck! I just completed some telephone time with Karen Batoe in preparation. I did receive an offer last week for a position in Newport Beach (same company, if you recall Monica, that I met with the day we first spoke), which, while promising, falls into second position, so I'm weighing that opportunity in the balance.
Best regards,
- B.A"

"Hi Laurie,
I had a great week. I called 20 companies that shook down to 15, and had at least 11 call backs. I have a couple I'm still trying to reach, a couple sent me to their website...protocol, some I'm in a 2nd step process, referrals etc..., and I have a phone interview, a resume drop off and a VP of Sales calling me immediately for an opportunity with Comapany Name . The phone plan works, and I will continue to use it in my sales strategy long after we have parted ways. I have never had nearly as high a return call rate as this, and you can quote me on that.
I'll give you a buzz on Monday after a round of calls and catch you live. I have a phone interview at 1 PM with Comapany Name , and I will call you at your convenience following that. Thanks.
- G"

"Hi Danielle,
I'm reviewing the newly updated career documents now and I wanted to send a quick note to recognize you both for the awesome re-work. I really appreciate that details from our discussion were communicated so well to the new writer, so this note is to congratulate you both on a job well done. I'm very pleased and plan to take the afternoon to review the documents carefully and reflect updates, if necessary.
Additionally, I'm working on the company list but wanted to get one more list for both CT and FL that included entertainment and resorts. I will narrow my selection to include these, combine a final list and reduce it to a working number. Hoping you can forward the final list soon so I can complete everything tomorrow.
Let me know your thoughts!
Thanks again for he great work!

(Laura's Client Posted 5/10/2009 9:51:55 PM (C.B) I have accepted employment with Company Name in City. I interviewed on April 24th and received the verbal offer (and agreed) on Friday, May 8.

(Client Posted (J.S) I accepted a position with Company Name and although they were not on the list you mailed to, the documents and help you provided were extremely helpful. How is the fee paid?

"Dear Sue and Monica,
I've downloaded all the documents and am reviewing at the moment. The quality (and quantity) of work far exceeded my expectations. I look forward to further discussing and moving forward on Wednesday.

Kind regards,
- B.A"

"Danielle,
How are you today?
Laura and I have been working closely to get established working with Allen and I've had a great meeting this morning with Debbie Rotolo. Your team has been great to work with and I look forward to working with you.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Take care,
- P."

"Ms. Moore,
Thank you for the phone call and conversation this morning. As a follow-up to our discussions I want to let you know that I talked with Mr. Jackson this morning and my letters did go out yesterday.
I also wanted to let you know of a couple of early successes I recently have had.
First, A about three months ago I sent in my resume for a position and did not hear back from the company. After I began working with Allen and Associates with a revised resume, letter of introduction, etc., I re-sent my information to the same organization for the same position. I substantially have been contacted by them and have had one interview with addition correspondence through e-mails with them.
Secondly, again before my mailings went out, but I have been sending out resumes on my own, I secured an interview with another organization which I had today.
Today's interview, although very structure with defined questions went well. One area I didn't have a lot of experience was in the area of raising capital from investors. Other than that I felt good regarding my responses.
Have a good Easter.

"Karen,
Sorry it has taken so long to update you but I did want you to know that I found a great job! I was offered and accepted a Director of Operations position with Company Name on February 23rd. Company Name was one of my targeted companies and using my Networking Tool connections I was able to secure an interview for the position before they posted the job externally. The job is a perfect fit for my skills and promises to be challenging and it appears there is room for advancement.
I wanted to take a moment and thank you and Allen and Associates for all the help and tools you provided.
Sincerely,
- D."

"Ed; just wanted to say how helpful Sue has been. She always returns my calls on a timely basis and is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure I have a complete understanding of the process. She also has helped me to better understand how to use Networking Tool, and Sixfigure jobs . She is always upbeat and refreshing to speak to. She is a KEEPER!!."

"Hello Erik,
My progress on the job search is picking up dramatically over this past week. I've had 5 interviews, 1 as a direct response to the broadcast letter campaign. I have another interview scheduled with Company Name on Monday which will be my 3rd interview with them. I am confident that I will be a great fit for that organization. Thank you for your help in locating them.
I have found the information on the Allenandassociate website very helpful in conducting my job search. I have updated my networking account to reflect an online resume, forwarded my new resume to organizations with good success. The companies that I've been calling have been receptive to the letter but most have directed me to thier website due to them not hiring at the moment. I will continue to call until I am hired on somewhere.
Thank you for your support.

"Hi Linda.
As you know I’ve been working with Sue on the company target list and finalization of my documents. All of which are now complete.
The "confirmed" company list will be targeted in 7-10 days or once enough time has elapsed where were confident that they’ve received the introductory mailing.
I am so ready to get back to work! This seems to be an excellent way to get employment. I hope to see a quick, positive response.
You placed me in good hands when you turned me over to Sue.
Thanks.

"Danielle
I interview yesterday with Company Name on the phone and am now scheduled to take an assessment next week. The resume helped me get to the interview and I found the job through the search engine.
I have not had any results so far from the job campaign, but I am trying.

"Hi Danielle,
I believe in celebrating and acknowledging even small wins, so I just wanted to pass along this quick note about one we have already had. My documents weren't finally approved, but I decided to take my new resume and cover letter for a test drive. On January 19th I saw a posting on job board for a Director of Quality Assurance at Company Name here in City. It wasn't a company on our list so I decided to apply via the web posting even though they specifically wanted Quality Assurance experience in the specific industry. I couldn't believe it when I received a call from the HR person at the company the very next day for a first round phone interview. The position responsibilities are quite a stretch for me so I may or may not make it to the next round of interviews, but the fact that I got a call should be viewed as a win. Using my old resume I had applied to numerous postings that I was more than qualified for and never heard a word. I think these are signs of good things to come.
Thanks so much,
- E."

"Kevin,
Thanks for asking. Job search is moving. I have a couple of good leads with 2 employers. Good interviews. The first one, I am waiting for the client review of my resume since I passed the screening of the recruiting company. For The other opportunity, I am waiting for the Hiring manager to set up an interview. I passed HR . I keep my fingers crossed.
As far as the Ad Campaign, I had a a call with the coach Karen Battoe. I am ready to start selecting a set of companies , do some research about them and start calling. So far , looks like the resume is working very well for me. I had a lot of recruiters calling.
If you wish to chat, let me know.
- J. "

"Hi Laurie, lo and behold, I had not one, but two messages from this company today. One message was from the CEO, Officer Name. They are interested in talking to me, but I wanted to talk to you first. I don't want to keep them waiting too long before I call them back.
I am leaving for a lunch appt. at about noon, but will have my cell phone with me if you could give me a call. Thanks!
Regards,
- L.L"

"Hi Laura,
I wanted to drop you a note and let you know that I accepted a position at Company Name and I start work next Monday. The last few months have been full of ups and downs in the job market. It seemed that when I was getting interviews, the job requisition closed either during the interviewing process or when they were getting ready to make an offer – extremely frustrating.
The job I landed was from a referral of a friend to a former company where he worked. I went through three rounds of interviews that covered three weeks. I must say that documentation that I downloaded from the website was a great guide to get me through the interviews. I also received many compliments for the resume and cover letter. The only suggestions that I received was that I needed to customize the resume for job that I was targeting.
Thanks for your help and even though I hope that this job will take me to the end of my working career, I know that I can use the service for a few more years.
Best regards,
-B.W"

"Monica and Sue,
I have accepted the COO position for Company Name. Company Name is an internet-centric early stage business located at the following address: [Address Removed]
Your team has been a great assistance to me and I really appreciate your support. I in fact want to continue to use the data base, etc.

"Laura,
I used Allen & Associates 10 years ago to do a marketing blast for me. I received quite a response and I even ended up accepting a job at one of the responses generated. Then recently, I was racking my mind trying to come up with a responsible firm to help my phone to start ringing again and it hit me, what about my old friends at Allen & Associates?
I called A&A up and was pleasantly welcomed back and to date, I have been very satisfied with the level of professionalism that my campaign managers have displayed. I hope my new campaign is as successful as was my last with A&A over 10 years ago.
Best regards,
-C.W"

How are you doing?
I will be in touch.

(Client Posted L.A) " Danielle, Good news - and a question... I need to know if we can wait on the mailing as I accepted a position!!! After less than a week using the resume you wrote, I had an interview at a great company. And it went so well, they offered me a job the next day... And with the holidays, kids etc. I decided it was the blessing we were waiting for. BUT should I get there and decide it is not as great as I thought, I would want to go ahead and start looking again.... I did take a pay cut, but in today's world, the cut I took was nothing compared to not working.... Please let me know, I remember being told that I can use the program for up to 3 years at no additional costs unless I wanted to make changes to my resume or send a second mailing. I appreciate your help!"

"In reference what we spoke about today. My letters went out Tuesday Nov 11th and I received a call on Friday the 14th from Company Name. The CEO passed my broadcast letter on to the head of HR to call me. I have a face to face interview tomorrow with the VP of HR about how I can help the company. I was pleasantly surprised of how quickly I received a quality response. I will be starting my follow up calls this afternoon, and will keep you posted on the progress.
-D.G"

"Ed,
My apologies on not calling back today. There is an outstanding opportunity here for a Finance Director. I have an interview for it this Friday. If it goes REALLY well, I may hold off on mailing.
I used your company's BL to apply and they moved up the interview for me by 11 days. Comp package is ~50% higher than my last one. Interview with Division GM and Corporate CFO.
We'll talk tomorrow,

"Arthur,
I believe that I am starting to have success working with Allen and Associates based on several factors to include a successful and concise resume, an increase in my own posture. I have found that since I have received the new resume, my confidence has increased and ironically so have my calls. I have started to receive calls from some of the seeds that I have previously planted, I am receiving calls from the Advertised Market via recruiters who are using my new resume and I am in the mix for several outstanding positions. Also, within one day of using the Resume Quick Send, I have started receiving calls from Executive Recruiters who specialize in Purchasing and Supply Chain.
I truly believe that the right tools are starting to generate the believe, change my posture and overall outlook. I appreciate the service, especially the outstanding service I receive from my Career Consultant, Mr. Connan Jackson.

"The very first phone call that I got (basically letting me know that companies were recieving them) was from the owner of the company. He said that my letter was very well written and caught his attention immediately. He didn't even finish reading it before he picked up the phone to call and set up a time to me with me. I truely appreciate the way that my strengths and accomplishments were highlighted, and you truely did 'market' me."

I hope all is well. This is Client Name, we were working together months back. You were very helpful in getting me on the right track to move a head in my career. I started working with Company Name as a Chief Application Arhitect. I finally figured out what the path I should continue on and the hardwork and persistence paid off.
I meant to get in touch a while ago, but was busy settling in my new position.
I appreciate your help and assistance.

"Hi Nancy,
I wanted to send a quick update. My Broadcast letter went out on July 24th, I received my first response on email July 29th from an HR Director with a "Thank you but no thank you" response. My second response was a call on July 30th from the president of one of my target companies saying he liked my CV and he and the CEO wanted to talk with me ASAP. I met with them them that afternoon and was offered the position during the interview.
Thank you for your support!

I have a phone interview with Company Name for an Associate Medical Director position in City. The position itself is really appealing to me. My first interview will be with Officer Name, HR director in City later this week – probably Thursday. Then I will have another phone interview with Officer Name, who is Medical Director at Corporate HQ in City.
Any assistance with this first interview would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for all the interview information – I am trying to read it all today and tonight.
Thanks,

"This is to let you know that I have accepted a Director position with a major retailer and am now off the job market. Hopefully for quite awhile! I am targeting a start date at the end of this month. I want to sincerely thank you for your help in my efforts to obtain a new position. It is a peculiar and difficult experience looking for a job these days -- so much of depends on a team effort and yet the members of the team usually only meet through virtual experiences rather than face to face. Even so, I feel like I've gotten to know you and have come to appreciate your feedback and guidance.
Please do keep in touch. Social networks are extremely valuable from a career and growth / development perspective and I would definitely like to keep you as part of my network whether it is just by email or phone or through a service like "networking-site" Again I'd like to thank you for your help and would be happy to help you, in return, in whatever way I can in the future.
Best to you,
- E.K."
"Amanda-
Thank you for making time to discuss salary negotiation strategies earlier this week. I have truly been impressed with the core team and 'networlding' experts that Allen and Associates employees. Specifically, I am impressed with your writing department that revised my resume and created personalized (top-tier) marketing documents. Also, Mr. Connan Jackson has been very focused in finding solutions to my requests throughout my career search. In short, I am very pleased with my decision to hire the services of Allen and Associates and I thank you for contacting me....I truly see myself using the services of your company beyond my next career opportunity!

"Dear Edward,
My story is not so long, and this is it: Me and my wife together with our two kids came from Country. There I worked as technology specialist at Company Name. In 2007, June I resigned to join my wife for her postdoctoral position at Company Name in City, MN. I was sure that I will find immediately a job in US. It was not so easy at all. I started to send out my resume to lots of companies, however the feedbacks were sporadic and elusive. One day, that I will never forget, you called and told me that you found my CV on the web and your company offered me help and support. We worked together for three months, in a perfect synchronization, and I already felt my self-confidence coming back. The time with you and Sue R. was critical in improving my interviewing skills and shaping my communication style. Thanks to our collaboration after a period full of good feedbacks and interviews, I was hired on an excellent position in a start-up company. And all after only three months...
I found in your company a very professional team, with a high level of commitment and also with a big heart.
Thank you all for your professionalism.
With respect,
- D.S."
"Kim,
I have secured a position with Company Name a contractor I worked with in Country and I will be returning there in July.
I've learned some big lessons during this expereince and hopefully during my contracted period over there I will be able to remedy some of those reasons why the nearly 4000 employers and recruiters I sent resumes to would not entertain even giving me time of day much less a chance to interview.
As you have stated it is they who have lost some real dedicated talent. I am sure I will be accessing the Allen & Associate system early to make sure I have enough lead time to saturate the market.
Thanks to you and Danielle for your assistance and bearing with my impatience.
Sincerely,
- E."

"Hi Edward:
Following up from our conversation last week, here are my thoughts on the Allen and Associates service.
The key to success with the AAA program is to take advantage of the wide scope of products and services. An aggressive job-seeker will utilize all the components of the search and not just rely on any singe aspect. This was the key to my successful search. I utilized the mailing campaign, company research, follow up methodology, the AAA executive job search manual, Mega search engine, etc, simultaneously. I also found the 1.5 hours of time with the career coaches to be extremely beneficial. The advice from Karen Battoe probably netted me an additional $25K in salary and bonus. My time with Debbie Rotolo was critical in improving my interviewing skills and shaping my communication style.
Having said this, the most valuable aspect of the AAA service was the confidence boost I received during the process. Having my resume professionally written, utilizing Edward's time and counsel, and the applying the various other tools gave me a strong sense that I was imminently qualified for the senior level positions I was seeking.
In sum, my advice to those who've made the wise choice to work with AAA is to do so with a strong sense of confidence and to apply all the resources available simultaneously.
Regards,
- M.R"
"Laura,
I start my new job at Company Name on Monday, 4/21/08. I have attached a copy of the job offer I received. After a coaching session with Randy Block and several conversations with the Hiring Manager the offer was revised to increase the base salary from $115,000 in the offer to $120,000 per year with a sign-on bonus of $5,000. All other terms were unchanged. The note I made on the offer letter regarding vacation was in error. The starting vacation level is 3 weeks / year, which is acceptable to me. I accepted the revised offer and am pleased with the outcome. Now, I have turned my attention to the entry process in a new company. I spent a significant part of my last coaching session with Randy Block covering that topic.
Thanks for your help throughout the search process. My active search (broadcast letters sent -to- 1st day of work) took 15 weeks. In today's economy that seems like a reasonable time. I still have a few credits for job coaching with Allan and Associates remaining. I intend to use them after my first few weeks on the job. I will also make a note to send you a brief update on how things are going after about 3 months on the job just to keep you in the loop.
Sincerely,
- J.O."
"Dear Laura;
Completed my sessions with Karen Battoe. I think they went well.
We spent about 1:45 minutes on 2 separate phone calls.
Not everything was new, but reaffirmation of my thoughts and efforts was good to hear also.
I will be prepared for my face to face with Company A today.
My face to face with Company B seemed to go well last week. I was supposed to be contacted either Friday or Monday, which I was not - probably not good news. We'll see.
Totally engaged by the HR representative, and spoke to VP of Internal Operations, SR Talent Acquisition/Relocation, VP Field HR, and VP Field Operations.
Will let you know what I hear.
Best Regards,
J.C.
"Just wanted to drop a note and let you know I have accepted the position of Chief Operating Officer for Company Name based in City, GA. I start on Monday the 17th.
Thank you for all your help.
Regards,
K.H".
"Joe,
To keep you in the loop. I have received my first call from the broadcast letter.
Company Name. Officer Name VP of sales. I have set up a interview with him on Wednesday March 5th
If anything it will be interview experience. They are on my C list
Have a great day

"Dear Laura,
I have interviews with the 2 following companies this week, so would really appreciate it if you could provide me with some additional research as we discussed:
1) Company Name in City, ON (Officer Name - EVP of HR).
2) Company Name, City, NY (Officer Name - President).
Many thanks in advance.
Warmest Regards,
- I.R."
"Hi Connan and Tom,
Just wanted to say how professional Connan and company has been to quickly get my program ready to go next week.
I really appreciate all the support in bringing me up to the status I should be at.
Tom I look forward to working again with you. As I told Connan, I had a really good interview yesterday for a Director of Finance in the 6 figure range. The only issue is that I have to apply for a top secret security clearance and if I don't accomplish this then I'm discharged. Knowing that you are just beginning my campaign I don't start second guessing the opportunity.
Thank you for your professionalism.
- J.M."
"Karen, just wanted to touch base with you. I have an interview with Company A, which was one of my selections on my research list, next week. Will get back to you with the results on that one. Also have a phone interview with Company B on Tues at 11:00. This is one of my own.
Seems like I've made a thousand phone calls but I am really excited about both of these as I'm already familiar with the companies and the products they carry. Company B has an opening in Atlanta and they told me they liked what they saw on the resume.
Since we haven't communicated in a while I wanted to let you know where I was at this time.
Take care,
- S."
"Hi Laura,
I have two more interviews coming up. I meet with Officer Name Company Name on Friday, and with Company Name Transportation Director next Monday, 2/25.

"Kari,
Too many time in our careers we receive notes concerning the poor performance and/or customer service of one of our associates. Fewer times do we reach out and commend those in which we are associated and have provided us with an excellent level of performance and customer care.
I have been in the customer service business most of my working years...I view customer service at a very high level, with expectation above most.
Amanda and Connan have provided me with open communication and have demonstrated a continuing effort to help and guide me through my job placement process. Amanda and Connan have provided me with a high degree of professional excellence. They should be congratulated.
Thanks you and travel safe.
Regards,
- B.M"
"Hi Laura,
I have a face-to-face interview with Company Name in City, CA, on Monday, 2/18. It is a company, primarily engaged in Business service distribution activities. Any information you can provide would be appreciated. I had a phone interview with the HR Director on 2/11.
- L."
"Hi Jason,
I have received my first response and have sent the requested information via email. I have been printing my follow-up cards and I have an interview that should be scheduled for the week of the 25th or the 3rd of March. I will be setting up another meeting with Rusty before my interview. Everything seems on track.
- D.M."
"Kim,
I will start working with a company called Company Name on March 1st. I wanted to say thank you to you and your team for all of the help. I am confident that your assistance was instrumental in my finding a new position.

"Good afternoon Kent,
It is with great pleasure that I can let you know that I have accepted a job offer from Company Name in City, TX last week. They are bringing me in on a Senior level pay with excellent benefits and bonus structure. After an initial phone interview followed by a 3-hour interview marathon , there was a mutual feeling that I make a good fit, I have experience and credentials that can benefit the team and it is for me an opportunity in a new industry that is worth going for!
I start next Monday and wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support in my job search in the past months.
If something would change to this new situation, I will no doubt be in contact with you again. Feel free to stay in touch with me as well.
Kindest regards,
- K."
"HI Mike, thanks for the help this week! Your suggestions and help made things a lot easier then being on my own negotiating the job front. Boy, what a break finally!
I am so happy about my job. It is a good place for right now. I start 2/25 and will have an opportunity to work a flexible schedule.
The Company B interview was great! It was low key and friendly. The position does have to post, but the manager is submitting my resume and said I would be called back.
I got both companies a thank you letter in the mail.
I am so relieved to have a job again. Can't wait to start.
- C."
"I wanted to express my thanks and belief in the Allen & Associates system so far. I worked with the team at Allen & Associates for about a week or two putting all the necessary documentation together. My mailing went out on January 31, 2008. I received a call from one of the companies who recieved my letter wanting to schedule a phone interview. A phone interview was conducted on Februry (Day), 2008 and I received a return call to schedule a face to face interview the next morning.
This is just an example of how the system works. I am confident with the continued help and coaching of the staff at Allen & Associates that I will have a job in no time at all.
Thanks
- P.C."
"Hi Laurie,
This is what I believe to be my first response to the mail out! I am amazed!
I assume that my next move is to follow this request and send the resume and cover letter to Contact Name …correct?
Thanks for the help!
- R."
"Dear Laura,
Many thanks for all the incredibly useful information you have sent me today.
I was really hoping we could speak first thing in the morning, since I am already receiving calls, and actually have my first interview tomorrow afternoon. I won't take much of your time -- I only have a couple of concrete questions to ask to get me going.
I have every intention of then following up by sending you, Connan and Mike emails to make absolutely sure you all know how much I really appreciate all your hard work, your ability to be responsive to my needs, and the incredible job you have done on all fronts. Calls on the day the letters got there (after hours) speak for themselves!
I look forward to a quick chat in the morning, and again many, many thanks to all of you at Allen and Associates for all your support and help.
Warmest Regards,
- I.R."

"Karen
THANK YOU for your help and guidance along the way in my career search. I sincerely appreciate your time and the effort you put into me. The best advice you gave to me was to STOP being so STRATEGIC and GO NETWORK. I took your advice, ran with it and made it happen!
With your help I was able to negotiate the following:
Salary as 2.25x of my current salary
25x commissions on the dollar versus my current scenario
Negotiated a compensation plan 2.25x greater than my current comp plan at 100% of plan
2 additional weeks of vacation compared to my current state
$9k in additional compensation in the first 3 months of employment
On January 31, 2008 I will be responsible for all New Business Sales for State and State with Company Name.
I have one final ask of you. I am scheduled to meet with a VP of another company for a final interview on Thursday in City and do not know how to professionally decline and still keep the lines of communication open for the future. In sum, how do I walk away with dignity and not burn a bridge?
I plan to call you tomorrow to discuss this. If I can reach you our conversation should take no longer than 5 minutes.
Regards,
- M "

"Hello all,
One of the companies on my list, actually had a job posting on Careerbuilder prior to me sending the Broadcast Letter. It was a nightmare trying to apply online - it actually took me 7 hours. Yes, 7! I never heard back from them. I called their CEO, left a message on voice mail. He in turn forwarded the voice mail message to his HR director, and instructed him to call me. I've had 2 phone screens - yes, 2 and with the same person. Turns out I am 1 of 20 candidates. I used the 'T' bar that Karen taught me (boy, I LOVE this) which really helped. I know that had I not called the CEO, I know that I wouldn't of gotten a call. Not sure that I'll be asked in for a face-to-face - he wouldn't commit (although I asked!) but, the process works!
I had a slow week with outgoing calls (sick for 2 days) but, I think I'm up to 60+ total. And, I've had several other calls from jobs posted on CareerBuilder, and have 3 phone screens lined up. It's like finding a needle in a haystack, but so far so good!
Take care, and thanks again.
- S."
"Hello Danielle;
I justed wanted to take this opportunity to tell the creative writers thanks for tailoring my documents. After reviewing all the documents, I said "WOW" is that really me? In reality it is. I just did not know how to state it. The documents reflected and mirrored the real me. Again thanks for all your correspondence via email and your diligence to assist me. Keep doing what you are doing because you are changing lives in a positive way. I am now ready to move my career higher.

"Hello Ms Halbleib,
Its been a couple of months since we have spoke and since then I have landed a job offer. But; this week I have also received some phone interviews from HR level recruiters and I'm preparing myself for the best. If you could refresh my process on setting up a mock interview, and who would you request for a tough test/ interview. The point is, I have received both calls from Company A and Company B for advancement positions and I'm looking forward to impressing them.
Thank you for your continued support,
- D.L"

"The service provided so far has been top notch. The quality of the people and the material developed has been outstanding and interest from companies started immediately after my broadcast letters were sent out. I even had an interview with a company not even a week after the letters were mailed."

"Kent,
I spoke with Karen today and she needs more companies for the broadcast letter. She is going to open up the lists and I will select more. I will get that done today.
I sent a resume to Company Name 3 or 4 weeks ago. They called me today for a phone interview. It went real good. He wants me to come to Texas for an in person interview. He said he would contact the HR contact so she can set it up. Ill let you know when and maybe we can set up additional interviews at the same time.
I'll talk to you soon.

"Rick,
Allen And Associates were able to help me find the job that was catered to me. My field is specific and rather competitive. I admit I was apprehensive at first about joining Allen and Associates but I felt that I needed to take a risk to get my career moving forward. I am very pleased with my offer, the salary, the signing bonus and the relocation costs. The coaches provided insights and instilled new found confidence to continue communicating and following up my contacts. The campaign people have done a wonderful job helping me find companies that cater to me and my skills. I am happy that I will be moving away from the City rat race and facing a new adventure filled with opportunities in Kansas!
Thank you for being available to me regardless of how many times I called or emailed you, I appreciate your support and guidance. I couldn't be more thrilled with how things have turned out. I'm glad I have 5 years of your service, but what do you foresee as a need to call you within that time? I am mailing the signed offer back to Company Name on Monday morning just to let you know.

"Dear Rick,
Thank you for all of your help in my career search. The services that Allen & Associates provided me were priceless.
When you first contacted me, I had just received news that my company was downsizing. This is the last thing that any person who has invested years in a company wants to hear. I was initially nervous about using the services of Allen & Associates, but you immediately put me at ease. From the beginning, you kept a close eye on my campaign. You expected nothing less than spectacular, and that is exactly what I received.
Your recommendation of career coaches was spot-on. I had never worked with such knowledgeable experts. They were the perfect fit in this stage of my career search. With their help, I was able to secure a 20% increase in compensation, plus a substantial sign-on bonus.
Thank you, again, for all your help. I will definitely recommend the services of Allen & Associates to everyone that I know.
Sincerely,
L.D"

"Good Morning,
I did start my new job this past Monday - as a Product Engineer at Company Name in City, MN. This will be an exciting career opportunity.
I do want to thank both of you and the others at Allen and Associates for the help that you've given to me during my search for a new job. By the way, I would also like to cancel my phone answering service - or just not renew it when the time for that comes along too.
Regards,
- N.R"

"Monica, a long overdue note to let you know that my two 45 minute sessions with Karen Battoe were invaluable. Not to diminish any piece or part of the Allen and Associates program, the work that Karen did with me has given me not only a clear understanding of how to prepare for an interview but also concrete tools to utilize in the process. It's clear she is an expert in her field and her sessions are clear concise and most importantly for me, structured to address the challenges in today's job market.
I actually have had two phone interviews with Company Name and am being scheduled for face to face interviews within the next couple of weeks.
Thanks for all your support!
- L.N"

"Nancy,
As we discussed this morning, I have accepted a position with Company Name.
I want to thank you and everyone at Allen & Associates for all your help. Your efforts really made a difference in my preparation and approach, both in my initial contact and during the interview process. In particular, please extend my thanks to Connan and the writers he worked with in preparing my resume. I received several positive comments on the look of the resume alone. Also, Karen Battoe was very helpful in helping me prepare for the interview process. I am sure I will be calling on her during my transition with my new employer.
Once again, thanks for all your help.
Best regards,

"Greetings, Connan & Emily!
Just thought I should advise you both that I have been offered, and have accepted, an amazing employment opportunity! After five grueling months, the search is over! Amazingly enough, this job came to me as a referral by a co-worker. I am thrilled and relieved but would be remiss if I didn't let you know how much I have appreciated the support, enthusiasm and professionalism from you both. Psychologically, I was at my wit's end before aligning with your company and it has been a great experience so far. I'm glad we're "joined at the hip" for five years in case I decide to make another move later on, but I am doubtful as this company is expanding and full of future possibilities!
Regarding my AAA job search, the broadcast letter have certainly resulted in several responses and I have updated those responses in the data base and will continue to do so as they come in. I also love my resume and will continue to use it, as needed. If there is anything else I need to do in the interim, keep me posted, OK?
Thanks again and best wishes for continued success!
G.C"

"Kari,
I have completed the survey and would like to thank you for the opportunity to complete this survey. I wouild also like to tell you that I am very impressed with your staff, especially Daniele and Nancy, as both have taken an interest in my success. "Hello Susan, Connan and Jennifer,
Susan, thank you for your call today. As I mentioned I started work for the Company Name on Monday and went into the office today for the first full day of work. Thank you all for all of your help. I will keep in touch and hope that you do so as well.

"Laura,
I have accepted a job offer that I like and will be starting work in about 3 weeks after I take a brief vacation. I'll let you know when I'll be out.
Therefore, I would like to terminate the phone service after the 3 month period is over.
Please confirm that the phone service will be terminated.
Thanks,
- P"

"Just wanted to let you know that a recruiter found my new resume on Monster that you helped me create. I was told it was the best written she had seen and that it couldn't possibly be from a company because the ones written by a company rep are usually so off the mark on using words that really reflect what the person does/did. Bottom line, the resume is doing exactly what I need it to. I have interviews tomorrow at a local Fortune 500 company for a great opportunity.
- D"

"Mike,
I wanted to update you that I accepted the position of Liaison in Business Development at Company Name. It was a fantastic opportunity with great benefits. It was through my broadcast letter to Contact Name that caused my new manager to call me in for an interview. There is a great potential for advancement at Company Name, and within a month I have already received a raise.
I cannot thank you enough for helping me put together my campaign, as it lead me to this position. I did not end up following up with all my calls, because this was the job for me. I have made the successful transition out of pharmaceutical sales into marketing. This is the field I want to continue my career in. Thank you so much.
- M.T"

(Client Posted) (J.J) "I have landed a job through one of our initial broadcast letters with Company Name starting on September, 2007. Thank You! Even though the goal was to have multiple interviews, sometimes all you need is one. "

(Client's email)"Dear Jason,
I wanted to take a minute to express my sentiments on the outstanding job Allen and Associates has done with my job campaign so far. From the very first phone consultation to the present state of the campaign, I have been nothing short of extremely impressed with the quality of the services offered from top to bottom. I am working with two individuals exclusively, Kimberly and Danielle.
Kimberly has been wonderful from day one. She was the first contact I had from Allen and Associates and she has been wonderful. Kimberly has continued to go above and beyond the "call of duty" and it is plainly evident that she loves what she does. It also helps, as in Kimberly's case, to be very good at what she does. She has been polite, courteous, upbeat, patient, encouraging, and empathetic at all of the pivotal points during the campaign and I thank God continually that He has blessed me to work with Kimberly.
Danielle has been a delight to work with in her role as my Campaign Support Manager. She never complained about running numerous lists for me during my company research. The turnaround time frame that Danielle works within is incredibly quick! E-mail is answered expeditiously, phone calls have been returned within 24 hours, and communication between she and I has been honest, open, and clear at all times. Like Kimberly, Danielle is very good at what she does and it is also plain to see that she enjoys serving other people.
I am a very blessed and thankful individual. I am a better person for knowing the Allen and Associates staff. I look forward over the next 4 1/2 years to a profitable, mutually beneficial business relationship with Kimberly, Danielle, Jason, and the rest of the staff at Allen and Associates. Thank you all so much! May God bless you all!
Warm regards,
- C.S"

(Client Posted) (N.W) Great News!! The broadcast letter system really works. After many interviews and conversations, one of the letters resulted in my landing a position. The company did not have a position, but created one as a result of the letter and our discussions. I landed my dream job Director based upon a lead provided by the system, following the manual, and it took less than 60 days. Thanks for the help

"Allan,
I accepted the position of National Sales Manager with Company Name.

"I guess I should let you know that I am working as a contract instructional designer for Company A. I have been contracted (open-ended) by Company B. If things continue to work out, I'll be here for the forseeable future and gain valuable experience for my resume.
The Company B recruiter got my resume from a site Internet, which I accessed through your company's resources, so thank you for the lead.
Stay in touch.

"Alan,
Hello. I received an offer from Company Name. When and will you have some time to discuss?

"Hi Connan,
I wanted to let you know that I accepted a job offer today as the Director of Training and Development for the Company Name...It is a $15,000 salary increase for me...!!! I am sooo very excited.
They received the letter I sent out...and called me right away for an interview. I had 2 interviews last week and this morning received and accepted the offer.
I couldn't wait to let you know. I've received other calls as well...but, the one from Company Name appears to me to be the perfect job for me...and, I'm truly grateful to Allen and Associates for the help that you gave to me which made this divine connection possible.

"I just returned on a flight today from City and meeting for the final interview with Company Name, the company which I discussed with you. The CEO/Co-Founder and Gen. Mgr. have both agreed for me to join them with the position of Director/V.P. Sales Operations, if I choose to do so. I took Karen's advice to "throw it on the employer to mention the salary first" I have attached my thoughts for my comp package for you to review and have sent a request to talk with you on next Monday at 3:00 PM PDT and we can use the attached document as our baseline for discussions. I am also talking with several of my friends who are currently, or have been, V.P. Sales and other V.P. positions to get their feedback on these comp negotiations.
Company Name has also asked me to put together a high-level (10,000 foot) Sales Revenue Plan I will be working with my "team" of industry friends to bounce ideas off of them on this revenue plan.
Your advice on this comp package will be, in my opinion, where Allen & Associates REALLY earns their money and I look forward to our discussion next Monday afternoon.
Best regards,
- S."

"Hi Kira,
The cover letter looked great - no changes needed there. For the references, I just added updated information for F.M , as he is no longer with Company Name. I wasn't able to open the Broadcast Letter - it said it was a mail merge doc and it couldn't find its "header source".
The documents look just superb, thank you very much and all the Allen staff.
Best regards,
- M"

"Hi Joe,
Wanted to let you know that I recieved a call back on a letter today (from the company pres.)and have set up an interview for Thursday.
I'll let you know how it goes.
Thanks

"Dear Kent,
Sorry it took so long to get this to you, but I wanted to thank you and Allen and Associates for your help in my finding a new job.
Your leads got me noticed by an individual at Company Name who fed my resume and attributes to contacts in the City area who were impressed with my capabilities. They created a position to get me in the door, but I turned it down due to the initial salary offer. This offer was only 8% more than my then current salary.
After getting advice from you and following it, I received another offer that gave me a 16% pay increase (double the original increase). I took it.
Thanks again for all the help.

"Hi Kent,
I'm writing to inform you of my progress with my interviews. First, let me apologize for not being able to stop in to meet with you on Friday. I tried calling you but could not get through directly to you.
The interviews went well. The first interview was with Company A for a Mortgage Processor position. However, they are looking for an experienced candidate but have not found someone that they liked as yet. They liked my resume and decided to try someone without experience, hence, our interview. If they do not find an experienced person that they think is capable, they will try the inexperienced route. The interview was somewhat relaxed and friendly.
My next interview was with Company B. It was a bit more serious and professional. They actually had me work out two math problems to test my math skills! But I did them correctly. They contacted me yesterday and asked me to come in for a second interview, which I will be doing on Friday. The position is for a Staff Accountant.
I will keep you up-to-date on my progress. Thanks for your time.
- J.S"

"Randy,
Counter offer was countered and they came close enough to accept. I begin my new role as Director of L&D on 8/15.
I couldn't have gotten through this without the two sessions I had with you. I'm encouraging that a first session with the coach be part of the Allen & Associates process before materials are drafted. I wasted a lot of time before I had a clearer understanding of what I do not what job I have had.
I enjoy your newsletter immensely! Keep in touch…………….
- J. "

"From day one this has been a very professional and efficient way to learn about the changes in today's job market and not only find but succeed in getting a new job. The opportunity today came as a result of better marketing materials, and numerous conversations with you and my Allen & Associates Career Coach, Randy Block.
I have never felt that empowered going into negotiations to counteroffer before the other day when you and Kent worked on what I could do to counter a really poor offer into a more acceptable offer. The insight and experience you and your team of professionals bring to the job search has been a blessing.
I am especially glad you reminded me that we are still connected for a 5 year period, and I know I will not fear unemployment ever again with Allen & Associates as my career partners.
Thank you again……………..J."

"Hello Joe:
I received an offer from a Company Name A, yesterday and I accepted. Thanks to your resume alone, I had interviews set up at Company Name B, Company Name C, Company Name D, Company Name E and Company Name F. I am very pleased with your service and I really didn't get a chance to use everything that you have to offer. I just used the resume and cover letter that you created and posted them on the job boards.
I was able to negotiate a great salary, x number of shares of stock as well as a significant sign on bonus due to your excellent coaching. Now I do not have to move and I have a short commute, nine miles, which is a big bonus for me.
Thank you for your help, encouragement and good sense. I would recommend your services to any executive that is conducting a career search. Well done Joe.
Kind regards,
- A."

"Hello everyone, I wanted to give you a feedback from the way my new employer hired me on the basis of my documents.
The resume was very well presented and the letter summarizing my past experiences was outstanding! I thank you very much for doing such an incredible job. I was lucky they were looking for someone like me right at that moment but truly the documents helped getting me the job after only one interview.
Thank you again for the fantastic job of the fabulous job of your team and thank you especially to J.D, who immediately understood how to presents my various experiences to the right job, I got exactly what she labeled my expertise at: Global Account manager/sales, my job is a step up to what I was doing before and I am using all my previous experience from Company Name an incredible smooth transition and a step up.
Thank you gain to Jennifer and Connan.
- C.M"

"Danielle,
I just got from City. I received the package. I also got two voice mail messages from Chief Nursing Officers of two institutions stating that they were impressed with the letter/resume that were sent. Although they did not have positions available in my area of expertise, they were going to forward my applications to other CNO of hospitals belonging to their network. And the two are still setting up telephone interviews to see how they could fit me in their institution.
Thank you,
-P"

"Sandy: Two offers this week. One at Company A in City, NJ… which I'm not interested in taking. Spoke to them again this afternoon and put some relatively high numbers on the table. I don't think they will bite on that.
The second offer is from Company B in City . Their offer is slightly above the fair market value from the salary report, and they are willing to relocate us. It's a Vice-President for one of their three lines of business. I discuss the relocation with their HR manager first thing tomorrow morning. So far everyone is being reasonable, so I expect that to go the same. The CEO is also a Cornell Graduate, owner/founder . I will report to the SVP. The company has less than 1000 employees and revenues about $500M.
I have not resigned from Company C yet, as the offer is not in writing… and my boss is on vacation. I'd prefer to do that in person. We're hoping to get this all squared away in time to get the kids in school in City by August. I'm at home tomorrow [Friday]. If you have time to call in the afternoon, we should make sure there's nothing I'm missing
- M.N"

"Hello Danielle:
I am just letting you know that I had my coaching session with Karen Battoe yesterday, and it was great! I covered so much with her, and I learned things that I didn't know before and never thought of. So far, my experience with Allen and Associates has been very helpful. I already have two interviews scheduled for this week. I will definitely utilize what I learned yesterday in my interviews.
I was also wondering if a follow-up letter will be provided for me as part of my documents, or should I go ahead and write one on my own.
Thanks for your time, and I will keep in touch.
- J.S"

"Monica,
I have two interviews this week with the following companies:
1. Company A - a national security focused management consulting firm based in City. This interview session is derived from a broadcast letter sent to the parent company in New York. I am highly interested in the position because it is directly related to my most recent field of expertise. However, the location issue is of concern, but my Internet research has yielded some positive results related to office space in New York. I have attached a job description for your review.
2. Company B - headquartered in City. The company has apparently been in existence for nearly 10 years, but has recently grown to 60+ employees. Their focus areas appear to be centered on financial industries (credit card companies, etc.). This is an intriguing position, but I did not and don't expect a job summary prior to interviewing. This too is a result of a broadcast letter received a few weeks back.
Any further information you might find on these companies is greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
- J."

"Hello Nancy,
We're getting closer.................Company A has already checked my references and of course I got the research you sent in prepartion for my face to face interview in Chicago on Monday.
Company B seems to be equally as interested in talking to me and they are flying me to L.A. Thursday, July 12th for a face to face with a couple of the key hiring people and a tour of one of their large units. Any research you have would be most welcome.
It appears that Company C will be contacting me next week with a schedule of when they'd like me to do a face to face with their Divisional Director. I'll let you know when I hear from them.
I'm hoping to have a couple of offers on the table in the next 10 days to 2 weeks. I'll keep you posted!
- L."

"Connan,
Thought I'd let you know. I accepted a job offer today at Company Name. The offer jumped my pay about 1000 a month, so I accepted it.
I'll be in touch.
K.Y."

"The second interview with the board lasted 1 hour. 30 minutes after that, I got a call back from them asking me to wiat for a call from the Commissioner of Public Health of City's office. He is the third step and I'm to set up a time to call in to him... he will be the last step, I think. The only one left would be M B of City. I doubt if he will need to talk to me!! The meeting set up is Monday.. I did find out that the postion has been open for 6 months... I assume they've been looking for that long.... I'll have to call you after the last interview, I'll be on travel and away from a computer for about 6 days! I also have a call back pending from a City position after July 2......
Talk to you thne! B.C "

"Sandy: The Company Name A finally called back… they want me to meet the Sr. VP in City. I asked what went well and what didn't. His answer, "not much didn't, you did very well." He was too busy to talk long [what else is new] but he did apologize for not calling earlier in the week as he was trying to get in contact with the SVP… or at least that's his story, and he's stick'in to it. BTW, he hasn't actually talked to the SVP yet, so I'm confident it's a story. Anyway, let's hope you're right, and the only thing they are guilty of is poor choices in recruitment staffing. :-)
Also got a call back from Company Name B in City NJ. They set up a conversation with the President/CEO for next Thursday. So I've got three companies on the line and a recruiter in Philly that wants to see me on July 2nd. That's not bad, is it? I also found out why the Company C SVP called me back too. The owner [from your target list] is a Cornell graduate. He saw Cornell on my resume and sent the SVP to follow-up.
I'd like to sort keep these going at the same pace, so they pop at the same time… Company D is the furthest out with Company B. Recruiter in Philly is a long shot at this point. Suggestions?
Also, I can hardly keep up with the e-mail, meta searches and still make cold calls… what's the best priority order of activities??? If something drops, what is it? Of course, I'd prefer not to drop anything, but I've been running short on sleep lately. J
Thanks for your help.
- M"

"Dylan: Call with C. at Company Name went relatively well. No positions currently in Chicago in marketing but she is going to see what can be done at some otheir regional &/or national HQ.
As well, received a call this morning from the answering service regarding a postion I applied for via the MetaSearch on your website with the Company Name. I need to go back through my notes, but as I recall it was a Director (Manager) of Marketing position. I'll forward additional info to you & let you know when I have set up a phone interview.
Many thanks!
- P"

"I've already have several job offers on the table, and now I have the " bad problem" of determining which one to take! ;o)
I want to thank you and your team for your help, your encouragement, and your instruction during this trying time. I wish you the very best.
Best regards,
- D."

"Nancy,
Just an update for you (hopefully you're already off enjoying your weekend).
1) I have a face to face interview scheduled with Company Name on Monday 6/25/07 at 10:00 a.m. I've done some research online to prepare, however, if you have any more that you think would be helpful, I would appreciate it.
2) I have business cards. Thank you for the suggestion.
3) I've received 3 phone calls from 3 different retailers already (and had one "no thank you" letter -- not sure what that one was about since it was for a legal job -- I'll follow up.) Of those 3 phone calls, I have one phone interview scheduled, one face to face interview scheduled and am scheduled to talk to an admin on Monday for the last one. So, I do believe this is beginning to work -- that sure was fast!
Talk to you soon.
- L"

"Thanks so much for your interest in Company Name! I'd like to speak with you and get a better understanding of the type of positions that are interest to you and your area of expertise. It would be great if you could send me the most recent version of your resume as well! You can e-mail it directly to me at this address.
I'd like to also encourage you to submit your application on our careers website in order to gain maximum exposure among the Company Name. You can view the current openings at Website.
I look forward to hearing from you soon!

"Good afternoon, H.,
Thank you for your expression of interest in career opportunities with Company Name!
Your letter to G.B has been forwarded to me for follow up. We appreciate the opportunity to review your credentials in light of current and near term positions and wonder if you could also forward an electronic copy, to facilitate review by additional members of our sales community?
Looking forward to receiving your resume, via email, and exploring positions that may become available with Company Name.
Warm regards,

"Edward,
Thank you for the words of wisdom today. I will start working on putting this information to work immediately. On another note, I did have a surprise when I got home today--I had a call from my answering service! W.J. from Company Name was calling as a result of the mass mailing. Wow!

(Client Posted) (J.M)" I have a few slight revisions to both the resume and cover letter. I will be emailing these to Kira for her approval. Other than the slight recommended changes, I am quite satisfied with the general resume and cover letter appearance and content."

"First ,please allow me the opportunity to say what a great job you and your team has done on my documents. It is relieving to know I have such great people on my side. Thank you very much for all your hard work!

PERSISTENCE PAYS OFF
"Dear Laura,
Company Name was one the companies I selected as a target company for the broadcast letter. I had left one or two voice mails with the contact person but, never hear back from him. Letter went our early in January/07.
One good day in March, I received an e-mail for an HR ady in Company Name that Mr.B (V.P) had received my letter and wanted to set up an interview with me.
I meet with Mr.B and one of his direct staff Directors. We talked for about an hour. No specifics on any job but, he told me he was interested in my skills and wanted to chat with me to see if there was fit with his organization. About 4 weeks latter, I received a 2nd e-mail from a HR manager, wanting to schedule a follow-up interview with couple of Directors that report to Mr.B Had the interviews, both very informal, and about a hour each.
In two weeks, I received another e-mail from the same HR manager indicating that they were putting an offer together for me. At this point, I was unaware of the position since we never talked about any during the interviews.
When I got the offer I finally knew of the position; was for a Sr. Industrial Engineer and I'm reporting to a Manager that works for one of the Directors I interviewed with (I don't know as of today my future boss).
The offer was not what I expected; I put together a counter offer asking about 12K more a year, 2 vacation days for the remainder of the year and 3 weeks vacation starting in 2007.
They counter with a 10K signing bonus, same base salary, 2 vacation days on top of the Dec shut down week and 4 other official holidays (independence day, labor day, thanksgiving, day after thanksgiving) and they granted as well my request for 3 weeks of vacation starting in 2007.
Thanks
- D.G"

"I recently had a phone interview with Company Name, a division of Company Name. I will be having the face to face interview soon. Can you send over some research?
- B.R."

"I have a face to face interview with J.T with the Medical Center Information Technology department at the Company Name tomorrow morning.
In preparation for this interview I spent 30 minutes with coach KB. on how to prepare the presentation that John requested of me. Karen did a great job of helping focus my approach.
I also have a telephone interview with D.S. at Company Name for a Project Leader position at their Ann Arbor Data Center location.
- P."

"I've had three or four interviews since we last spoke. I had a 2nd interview with Company Name on Tuesday 5/28/2007. I haven't been made an offfer as of yet. If you like to use my story, that'll be fine. I would also like to know if there's anything you'd like to add about my campaign.
Thanks,
- K."

"Thanks for the heads-up. I didn't speak with a coach. Per our conversation Friday, you thought it would be better to wait until I completed the interview before we did so. I'll keep you posted how the interview went; give you a call tomorrow p.m.
On another note; I got a call from an E.W from Company A headquarters in City, NC. Seems as though the CEO passed "a letter" he received about me on to him to see "how" "where" I might fit in their company. Talking with Mr. W's secretary today, it seems as though the broadcast letter caught his attention, and shortly thereafter, someone saw my resume on one of the job boards.
Anyhow, Mr. Watson called me on Memorial Day and left a message saying that someone from his office will be in contact with me within the next week or so to "see what they can do." However, since I was going to be down in the Charlotte/Salsbury area interviewing with Company B, I thought that I'd try to get an interview with him face to face. Unfortunately, he's booked up for the next couple of days. However, his secretary did call me back to let me know that (get this...) SHE's trying to arrange for me to meet with one of the hiring managers on my way back home.
Anyhow, long story short...I'm hopeful that either tomorrow afternoon or Thursday, I'll be interviewing with someone from Company C. I don't thing they're looking at any particular position, but I do think the CEO is on a talent search and my resume kinda "peeked his interest." In any event, I'll keep you posted.
Regards,
- J"

"Letters just sent out and got an immediate response:
John,
From your letter, I see that you have a extensive background in transportation and its logistic. In the near future, I will be faced with a retirement in my organization of our transportation coordinator who manages the railroad agreement and our fleet of railcars. While I note you have worldwide experience, would you consider in your career managing a smaller domestic transportation operation? If you would consider such a move, what would be your expectations for a salary range for such a position?
John, thanks for your letter. I look forward to hearing from you and answering any questions you have about Company Name and our operations.
J.R

"I have spoken with Career Coach who was helpful in giving me some tools for future job planning. After the discussion, I and have decided to accept the internal opportunity and transfer within Company. Therefore, please put my Campaign on hold. Since it is already paid for, I will of course plan to utilize it again in a couple of years. In addition, please postpone the turn-on of my answering service if you have not already done so.
I have been impressed with the services thus far and look forward to starting up again when the time is right. Regards,
-S. "

"Just checked a message on my cell from Company saying that he wanted to introduce himself to me and has an opportunity that he would like to discuss. Sounds interesting. Company is a very good company...they already know my salary requirements begin at 200K (through my initial phone interview from last week)
I believe that Company is based either in Houston or Dallas and described himself as "Senior Recruiter" with Company.
Any input or advice before I return his call (probably be tomorrow) would be appreciated!
Thanks!
PS: Hey, this stuff is working!!!"

"Here are the companies that have contacted me so far:
- Company A - Had great phone interview - Setup formal interview for 5/24
- Company B - Had great phone interview - Are looking at several business segments for right fit and will get back with me soon.
- Company C - Had great phone interview today - Are putting together an addition phone interview next week.
- Company B - Was just contacted today - They want to meet with me next week.
Stay tuned!
- AJ"

"I received an offer letter today from the company I mentioned when we spoke last. Could review and let me know what you think?
Thanks,
- M."

"I had interviewed with Company Name A and Company Name B. They both made me an offer. I accepted Company Name B's offer and I start on 5/29/07. Since I am leaving, I really haven't had anytime to follow-up with the other companies. I've been training my successor and when I leave work I go to the city because the day is so beautiful.
Well, that's my update.
Thanks,
- a."

"I did finally get to talk to D.P. from Company Name A. He requested an appointment to see me and I am supposed to call him on the 29th of May to set up an appointment for while I am home.
I also received a call from J.W at Company Name B. He requested my resume and asked me to call on the 29th for an appointment while I am home.
I will call you Monday to discuss all this with you.
- J."

"I talked to the person who is hiring me and they can't go any higher than the $100K because they can't afford it in their group. I am being hired to replace the person who hired me and she is going to retire in 3 years so I will move up faster I just have to get in now. So I am accepting the job. I did everything the coach told me and went past the HR person and talked to the person I am going to work for and got the real scoop. I am doing my retirement paperwork right now."

"Kent – I received the following Email. Please review my response and let me know if this appropriate. This is my first request for a resume (even though I included one in the original communication). I'm assuming they wanted one in a format other than HTML? At any rate, what do you think?
Thank you for your response. I have included my resume for you to consider. As you will note, my skills and experience are broad and indeed proven, as demonstrated by my accomplishments. There is no question that when I apply my initiative and profit-oriented mindset to your strategic plan, you will realize a number of financially viable contributions.

Three Weeks after campaing was mailed
"I am in receipt of your resume. We have a senior purchasing position we're looking to fill and I was inquiring as to your current salary requirements. I'd like to speak to you, pending those requirements.
Regards,
- E.L

"Good Afternoon. I apologize for not staying better connected with you and your staff but life is just flying by me at a high rate of speed (I retire from the C G in 15 days). I just want to let you know that I have accepted a position as General Manager of Company Name. in City, MO. This was a direct result of the broadcast letter you and your staff put together in such a professional manner for me, as the company president called me after receiving it and created this position for me. They have offered to build this side of their company around me, so I am very excited about the opportunity.
I will be making a base salary of $80K, with bonus options based on net income that will easily put me over the $100K mark. I have health care, retirement fund options and a company vehicle. This is the perfect job for me and I could not have done it without you guys! As you may recall I had hired another company to help me in my job search that had failed miserably and I was reluctant to try another company, but I am glad you were able to convince me to take that step. I will always be grateful!
Respectfully,
- J."

"Please forward my compliments to your writing staff. I was very pleased with my Resume, Cover Letter and Broadcast Letter, in fact I made no changes. The integration of my job experience and acomplishments really captures the essence of what I want to communicate to my future employer. I am feeling really confident that as a result, I will find that position which will allow me to leverage my time and talents. Thanks!

"One week after getting my resume completed, ...While the lists were being researched, I was going through the lists of names on the website. I transferred the list to Excel and organized them by the size of the company (based on sales) and alphabetically to make it easier to find a company. This helped because not every company that was on the original list ended up on the final list.
Once the broadcast letters went out, I reserached the list to find companies that I had already corresponded with through the job site list mentioned above. This has made it easier to have an opening with the company or have specific information to speak about when talking on the phone.
Before making the calls, I spoke with job coach K.B. She was very helpful in giving advice on how to organize and personalize cover letters and resumes for every single company that I talk to and for every company that I send a resume to. She was also very helpful in giving advice on the types of companies that are usually more responsive to the calling campaign that I am engaged in.
I have currently been on four interviews since having my resume re-written and I am not even halfway finished with the call back list. I do expect the company response to be slower going forarwd since I started with the companies I thought I would have the greatest success with. I have been getting more response from the resumes I have posted since spaeking with job coach K.B. I have been very satisfied with this job search campaign so far and expect to be employed very soon.
Thanks"

Thank you for your time with me, listening to me last month when I was concerned about them passing me up, and your care, and I will talk to you again!! I would like to thank Allen & Associates for all its work, I am very pleased with "The position is at Company Name, which was the company I emailed you about in late March; I requested Allen & Associates to research because I was going for a final interview with the VP of Sales. The research helped, I aced the interview and got the offer, which I accepted. Also, the resume I used on the interviews with Company Name was the version written by Allen & Associates. Please pass my thanks along to your research and resume writing teams, they did a great job.
I would like to thank Allen & Associates for all its work, I am very pleased with the result. I also recommending your company to two close friends of mine who are looking to make a career change. Thanks again.
Sincerely,
- R"

"Hey Kent, I received a voicemail from the HR department of the Company Name. They are the owners of the PROFESSIONAL SPORTS TEAM. I have to call her back. I don't want to mess this up. Any advise?

HAVE A WONDERFUL AND BLESSED DAY!!!"

"Nancy -
Just wanted to say hello and that I landed. I started at Company Name on Monday. So far, slow but food. A bit tough making the change, but I am hoping to assimilate soon. Thanks for all you and co. did to help me land. This job was actually one that I found on my own with another head-hunter. But, the coaching I got from Career Coach was very helpful in discriminating between the final offers that were all on the table at the end (4 of them).
I still have some coaching hours left and assume I still have a relationship with Allen and Associates. So, when the time next comes for a job move, I will be reaching back to you (hopefully that will be in a long while).
Best of luck and thanks so much again -
R.A."

"Dear Ms. S,

The information you provided me was very much appreciated and well received. I look forward to Thursday to meet with Ms. L. and to carry this issue forward.
Sincerely,
- J.M.R."

"Hello, my name is L.M, and I have been a client of Allen & Associates since about 2000. My file was on "Stand by" for awhile as I pursued other things, but it was during that time that I came to know Connan, and he began assisting me with my campaign. Recently, I finally became "active" again, and approved my final documents, etc. The entire time I was inactive, Connan remained in touch with me, and was always available for questions and feedback. Since seeking employment again, he has been the exact same way and has always remained professional and helpful. I have already received a response from one of the companies that received my employment credentials, and have had my first interview. I recieved many compliments on the format of my resume as well as the presentation, etc. Connan represents Allen and Associates well, and he is truely an all around polished individual. I just wanted to take this time out to commend you on having a person on your team who goes above and beyond to assist his clients in what otherwise, could be a "tedious" and often frustrating career search.
He is truely an asset to the Allen Team, as I know you know, and I'm glad to be working with him on my campaign.
Sincerely,
-L.S."

"Danielle,
At your earliest convenience, could you provide me company information on on the following companies:
Company Name
Company Name
Company Name
Company Name
Company Name
Company Name
I have interviews scheduled with these companies from my broadcast letter.
Thank you for your time & assistance. It is going well with my campaign.
Sincerely, - D.M"

"Joe -- in brief I have 10 more calls to make, letters to get out, etc.
The interview yesterday: not a true interview; the Broadcast letter piqued J.R's interest so she wanted to meet me..for 20 minutes! The job has not yet been posted but she says when it is she will call me back for a second interview.
Told Career Coach (who wanted to know) the Qs asked and my As: Karen said in effect, "dead on!"
Will send Thx letter immediately. My interview skills are good.
Sending for Company Name, B.M Alumni directory: more contacts.
Cheers!
- d."

"Joe,
Just thought I would let you know that in the past 24 hours I have received 12 fairly positive responses to the Broadcast letter. I have a lot of work to do today (and already have been at it for about 2 hours), so will keep this short.
Lucy was tremendously helpful and I really appreciated her help.
-d."

"Please help me learn more about Company Name. I will be interviewing with M.H for a VP Sales position next week.
The offer from Company Name is dead. They cannot afford me. The interview process with Company Name has also ran dry.
Thanks. C.W"

"Just got off the phone with a client from February. Signed up 02/07 letters were mailed by 03/05, said the AAA resume and cover letter are great, our creative writers are great, going into 6 negotiations already with companies some from mailing some not.
Said Career Coach is wonderful and setting up another appt with her to cover salary negotiations techniques. Said that we have give a great team effort and would never have expected such results with in 60 days or 30 days of the mailing!
Thanked us for our team effort and the support we have given him. Asked client if he would write an email to let me know about his experience. Said absolutely. I should expect a glowing email about us and our team with in the next week or so...

" I did get a position with Company in South Carolina.
I am moving to SC and I am busy with relocation process.
I got a direct position with this great company.

" Hello! Just a quick note to let all of you know what an amazing job you have done with all my documents. You are all such great, insightful, thoughtful, and detail-oriented writers. You have a true ability to take what I had on my initial resume and turn it to something spectacular. Thank you for your hard work, quick turn-around, and expertise. Without all of you, I would definitely not have any of these documents (e.g., resume, cover letter, etc.) ready to go. One last word about Mr. Connan. He is unbelievable! What I needed coming into this program was someone who would push me and "light a fire" beneath me to stay motivated and focused throughout the process. Connan's professionalism, constant follow-up, disciplined approach, and just wonderful personality has helped me thoroughly enjoy this process AND want to get my side of the work done! You all are THE BEST! THANK YOU AGAIN!
- V.P."

Letters mailed one week earlier:

(Client Posted) "I have received a phone message from P.P , CEO at Company
- A.J."

"Hello again:) I have used your services around this time last year to obtain employment in the "Entry-Level Programming" industry & you helped me find several jobs within the industry - I cannot thank you enough for all that your company has done! I went from no jobs to three interviews in one week!!!
I did accept the Company "GIS Technician" in City, MN and I was employed there for about 9 months...Unfortunately, I was just "laid off" on March 15th - just over a week ago...
I plan on taking a "two-week break" for "recovery", but I wanted to give you a "heads up" on my circumstances because I plan on using your company again (of course)...
So what is my "next step" & can you provide me with some additional information about any "additional costs" that I may be paying for the services? I think that it was mentioned that your company stays with the employee for five years - is this correct?
Thanks again, Laurie, & I look forward to working with you again:)
Sincerely,
C.L."

"I had a nice interview with Company A this morning. They will be calling later this week to set up round two. He was impressed with me and my qualifications and asked me to move up the chain to the next step. Should meet again early next week.
I had an even better second interview with Company B. The owner told me he would have an offer available for me to pick up by Friday and that he hoped I would be a member of his family by April 20. That one is mine for the taking, if I want it. I will wait to pick up the offer.
I am concerned. Company B wants me soon as possible. Yet, I know there are 5 steps to the process at Company A before an offer can be made. It could take a full month to get through it... and there is no guarantee an offer will be made. How do I juggle this?
Advise is welcome.
- C."

"Just wanted to drop a line on the progress of my resume. Jennifer has performed a fine service on my docs.
I also wish to extend my thanks for personally assigning her to my account. I am anxious to [launch] my campaign after my letters are complete and will look forward to proceed under your expert guidance.
Again Thank You.
- J."

Letters mailed one week earlier:

"First, foremost, and above all: I already have had a call in response to the resume that "I" sent out. I am thrilled, particularly because this is consistent with what you asserted would happen if I signed on with Allen and Associates. It is incredibly reassuring and an enormous relief to have had a call and when it is still early times. I will do my research on the company this evening; read the training manual with great care; and prepare some ideas suggestions about the company in the event the discussion takes that turn. Incidentally, it gave me quite a quick to have the Answering service take the call and voice mail a message to me, along with sending the relevant information in an email. Thank you, Joe: this begins to be exactly as you maintained it would be.
In the meantime, again, my genuine and very warm thanks. This call from the Company Name has been even more than fortuitous: it has raised my spirits which were rather flagging around a week ago.
Best regards -
D.I
P.S. I just received yet another call!"

Letters mailed out one week earlier:

"Last week was very productive. I did speak with Coach Career. . She was great. Very helpful.
I received a call from one of the letters sent. They wanted to see me that day. I went and had a wonderful learning experience and now have some new on my networking list. The job was not quite right but I learned alot and we agreed to keep in touch.
This week I will be leaving late tomorrow to go to City, Kentucky. Company Name has just spun off from the university. They are a small contract pharmaceutical manufacturing company looking for a VP of HR. I will be meeting with the CEO and also several Board members. Would you look into salary information for me? The company is small (less than 75) but growing.
Thanks,
- A."

How quick do I return a call? What information do I offer? This was quicker than I expected.
Thanks. C."

Due to this job offer and acceptance, I will no longer need the answering service. If you ever need a reference for future clients, I would be willing to help.
Thank You,

"I like to say some words to express my appreciation to your service.
You have done an outstanding job as support campaign manager. You have an eager to serve attitude. You work very well with me as client. You want me to complete my company search in the beginning of December. You respect my schedule. You patiently waited for 2 months to let me complete the company search. You ran 5 times company search for me without complaining You help me set up a communication with the writer. I have an excellent resume because of you and writer. I am impressed with your detailed instruction of job campaign.
You are an efficient and team player. You are nice to work with. As the campaign support manager, you go beyond of the duty.
I would recommend anyone to have you as support campaign manager.
I am fortunate to have your help. My gratitude goes beyond the words.
Thank you.

"Contact, President, responded to the broadcast letter. We had a brief conversation today and have scheduled an interview for next Tuesday afternoon for a Vice President position in the logistics area.
- R."

"Excellent job in writing my resume. I like the key highlights brought to the beginning of resume. It is the best place to bring out the high quality of my achievements. I am even proud of myself when I read them.
Thank you for your help. Please make changes and upload them.
- T.

"With this we are done!! please offer my thanks and congratulations to KH for an outstanding job rewriting my resume....this is a much, much improved resume compared to my original.... thank you for your professionalism and patience!"
- F.C.

"...Excellent job. I am very happy with J's rewrite, the quality of the documents and the overall professionalism of the efforts on both your parts. I sincerely thank you for your attentiveness to my earlier concerns and for the research of the mailing list. Time for that conversation with A and some coaching lessons.
My sincere thanks for an outstanding effort. Please forward to your supervisor for me and thank her for her help on Monday for me.
- C.D'A"

"Well, as you said persistence pays off. I was able to entertain two offers this week and accepted the better of the two. I am going to work for Company Name as the VP of Infrastructure Services in the US and country. Start first week in Feb. Thanks for your help.
- G. H"

"just wanted to drop you a quick note updating you on my job search. I've landed a position with Company Name out of city as Director of Licensing/Certification Testing. I start January 16th. I'll be working from my home here in city. I wanted to thank you for the service and let you know that the resume did open various doors but that networking (as you told me) really is key to finding a job in this marketplace. That's exactly how this position came about and I actually worked with the employer to create the position.
Anyway, thanks and wishing you a prosperous 2007.
Regards,
- B. H."

"You and your team assisted me with my job search last summer/fall and I wanted to let you know that the program was successful for me as I changed jobs in mid October 2006
Thanks again! Happy 2007
- L.M."

"Thank you so much for the great work your team did on my cover letter and resume. They were able to very quickly absorb all of the information I sent them and create (what I hope will be) and excellent sales piece! Please share my appreciation with everyone!!
- J."

"I had sent my resume to a search firm for the IT Manager position. They called after 3 weeks and did a phone interview. I then met the recruiter for coffee and we talked almost 2 hours. Near the end she responded that she was not getting the same impression talking to me that she had from the resume. The resume gave a lot of detail on the technical environment I was in, but not my skills and interests. As she was about to ask me to rework it, I handed her the resume done by Allen and Associates. She beamed. She read through it and her comment was "This is beautiful. Just what I was looking for." She sent the A&A resume to the hiring manager and he requested that I come in for an interview.
- T. H."

"Allow me to pay a well deserved compliment to Allen And Associates' writing team for the recent composition of my cover letter, my resume and my executive profile. Per our conversation, it is my understanding that J D-B was assigned to my projects. I am grateful that she was involved. Please convey my appreciation.
- G.Y."

"I wanted to thank you and Allen and Associates for creating a spectacular resume for me! I just landed a new job making 30% more than my current salary (well into the six-figure range). The CEO, project manager and team lead who interviewed me made reference to terms such as "persuaded" and "ensured" which showed that although I was involved in and an essential member of the project, I was not the key player or a "one-man show". These terms enabled them to make an educated decision about my actual experience rather than guess and hope they had chosen correctly. Without Allen and Associates it would have been extremely difficult if not impossible for me to make this jump into the next level of my career.
Thanks!
- S."

"My start date is 11/1/06. Your help was great and I sincerely appreciate it. The consultations and answering the many questions are invaluable during this process. My last remaining issue is telling my first offer I am not coming to their facility. I am trying not tell them until all I's are dotted but I don't think I can hold off much longer. I got a call from them today to let me know that all contingencies were finished and everything is ok. They are waiting for me to send in the payback letter on relocation. So what do you think?
- m."

"I do believe working with Allen and Associates is one of the best career moves I could make.
Have a great day,
G."

"I have received 4 job offers in the past 6 weeks. Company A, Company B, Company C and
Company D. I have negotiated the best deal for my family and me and have chosen to join Company A as their VP Program Management. Your help with resumes, distribution, follow-up and especially Karen's coaching really turned my search around. You have my endorsement and my thanks.
- M.

"I would like to thank you and your staff for your professionalism and hard work in re-creating my resume'.
Words can not express how grateful I am to the WRITERS for bringing my Resume', Cover Letter, Broadcast Letter back to life. They did a miracle for me. I've been out of this for better then twenty years now and I'm still using the same Resume'/References, and cover letter.
This all is quite refreshing and eye appealing.
I THANK YOU ALL from the bottom of my heart.
- S.E
I'm back in the game now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thank you"

I will review all the materials very soon. I am busy responding to calls I am already getting! I've gotten three calls so far, interviewed yesterday, plus I have another company I am interviewing with today
Thanks!
- R"

"Thanks for meeting with me via the phone yesterday. I nailed the phone interview with company and they are bringing me down to NYC next week for a panel interview.
- B."

"I just wanted to thank you and the Allen team for the good work on the resume and other documents. I am especially pleased with how the resume turned out. I was very nervous about this entire process as I generally do not relinquish control over something as important as a job search. I would not review the documents all weekend. When I read the resume this morning I realized that the money I paid for the program was well worth every penny. I am so thankful that I took Joe's call that day and that Allen has such talented staff. Please pass along my thanks.
- K.S-R"

"I just wanted to drop you a line to tell you that I have landed a leadership position with a $30K raise. The resume rewrite was instrumental in me obtaining this job. It also gave me more confidence in moving forward after being at the same company for 7 years.
Thank you for all your help and thanks to Allen & Associates for the work they offer.
- L.C"

"I was offered the promotion this afternoon! Thanks for all your support! (And yes, I've already sent a thank you to Karen for her coaching…) Lots of work ahead, but I'm game!
- N."

"Thanks for all of your (and Allen and Associates) help in the past - and hopefully - in the future. I firmly believe that without the powerful resume that your firm helped me write, I don't believe that I would be where I am today - it's still hard to believe that I actually was able to double my salary!!!
Regards, - T."

"I am pleased to notify you that I have accepted a position as Plant Manager of a plastics manufacturing plant in "city", Texas. I will be working with "company", formerly "company". I appreciate the assistance preparing resumes, cover letters, and providing the detailed total job manual for reference. You have certainly been helpful during this transition! Thanks.
- V.W."

"By the way, the campaign is going very well so far. I will start my phone calls tomorrow but I have already had an initial phone interview with “company” for an upper-level inventory control team management position and I was told that I made it to the next step and would be contacted soon for details. Additionally, I have a physical interview with the President of “company”, Inc. scheduled for Tuesday, 9/5, in “city”, Arkansas. I would like to have the reference sheet with me for that interview, if possible.
Thanks for all that you do and let me know if you need anything at all from me.
- T."

"Good Morning... I GOT THE JOB!! I start Sept. 11th. Buyer II position. I can't believe it. I'm so excited. It was quite the process, but I made it.
I can't thank you enough for helping through the interview questions, that helped me more than you know. As a matter of fact, my new boss called me this morning welcoming me to his team. He said that he had a great pool of talent to chose from; however, he said that my leadership skills really shined through. He said he is excited for me to learn the process and in the future, becoming a Senior Buyer. God is good.
Thank you so much for your help.
- P."

"I have looked over the letters and resume that you created and am very pleased with the products. I have sent a few updates to the resume via email for your review. I am completely satisfied with the broadcast letter and cover letter."
"I think you have done a great job in both the re- writing of my resume. I give it my full backing just the way it is written.
Sincerely,- L.B."

"Lastly, my compliments to your writer(s), I should have extended this when I first received the draft, the resume was very nice, clean and to the point, and I love the format! and I can see your staff has put in extra effort to identify things that I may have neglected that can enhance my background, again I love the presentation of the document, and please extend my thnaks to your writing team!
Thanks much!
- M."

"Good news....... Having a second phone interview with "company". Will keep you up to date. Thanks. - M.N"

"Everything looks better then I expected. Honestly, I made the additions your company asked for, and that's it. I am impressed and know I will definitely find what I am looking for. I only made changes to the resume based on what your crew asked me to expand on. I wish you the best, and lets get started!
- J."

"Things are finally coming together. I have five final interviews and a first interview scheduled during the next 6 business days.
Thank you for your help and support.
- D.G."

"Thank you so much for the draft. I was very impressed with its quality. I am currently reviewing the piece. I will send it with changes as soon as I am done with it. Many thanks.
- B."

"I apologize for my lack of response but the last 2 weeks have been been very busy with phone interviews and several face-to-face interviews. The god news is that I have been offered a job which is a promotion and also well paying, especially for Northern Colorado. I have accepted the offer and will begin my new career on Monday, 8/7. I would like to thank you and your team for their work and really do appreciate the professionalism.
Best regards.
- P.M."

"I received the offer that I was looking for. 100K, 3 weeks vacation and a few other things. Once I get the revised hard copy of the offer, I am going to need to quit my current job. I feel bad, since they invested a lot of money in me and have only been there since July 10th. I have no regrets, because this is best for my career and family. I am seeking any advice and or verbiage that you can provide me, for when I give my resignation.
Thanks,
- J."

"First: HI! It's been crazy, but this definitely the right move for me. "company" is where I belong! (And I truly appreciate it after the nightmare with "company". So… finally the Site Director positions have been posted. For my site, it's mine to lose… I heard today that I'll have 5 interviews (two have been scheduled).
Hope all is well on the East Coast
- N.S."

"The second version is great. I now understand why they are call the creative team. They are very creative and I am very thankful for the wonderful work your team has done.
Thanks again,
- D."

"The documents are outstanding. I'm very pleased with how they turned out. Thank you for your help. I look forward to working with you.
Sincerely,
D.T."

"I'm extremely pleased with the materials you have provided and cant wait to make the final edits and begin using these. I have written many versions of my resume to try and capture the real me, but nothing compares to what you have done. Thanks!
- B.T."

"Yesterday 7/15/06 I accepted a position as an Account Executive with "company" in Delray Beach. My first day is Monday 7/17/06. I am very excited about this opportunity. I want to thank you and everybody at Allen and Associates who was involved with this campaign. I will save all material and contacts in the event that something changes and I need your services again within the next five years.
Sincerely,
- B.R."

"I have a job offer from "company". I am to start August 8, 2006 . Basic salary $178,000.00/annum. Other allowances about 90,000.00/annum. Two months paid vacation. I am a project Manager of an Oil facility. This is the company that was asking me questions that I brought to you the other day we got together.
Thanks for the help. How do I respond?
- A "

"Kelly,
I spoke with Lauren Reuben from NY today. She loves her resume and was super impressed with you and your work. Thanks!"

"Just to give you an update.
After I talked to you at the end of last week I was able to negotiate additional compensation for temporary housing and other benefits as well as health insurance, 100% paid by the employer.
My salary will not be where I would like it to be but this company has a lot of potential down the road and offers profit sharing on project work as well as new business.
All by all, I feel this is an opportunity to be back were I would like to be within a reasonable time.
All top management is over 60 and I certainly have the feeling they are looking for replacement down the foreseeable future.
I accepted the offer and will officially start tomorrow, although I was on the road with the VP of sales and one of their senior combustion engineers all day yesterday.
Anyway, I will be getting quite a bit more exposure to different industries so we see how it goes, I may get other opportunities down the road.
Thank you for all your help it was a pleasant yet first class experience working with Allen and Associates. All ground work took a while to take effect but once the mailings and postings were established the inquiries into my credentials and interviews really took off. I will definitely recommend your services to anybody finding them self spinning their wheels like I was doing before I started working with you and the team.
Thanks again,
- J-M K"

"I have accepted a position as Partner with a Regional Agency with multiple Roles; which include Production, Operations, Compliance, and Finance. My core focus will be to expand the current product distribution channels to grow the current client base and grow into expanding markets here in Northern Ohio.
I had 3 interviews set up within a week of all my letters hitting the market. One interview process went to the 4th interview over a few weeks; which led me to my current position. As news spread that I was in the market and searching for new opportunities, A Regional Agency that concentrates on Employee Benefits asked me to talk with them regarding joining abilities with them. With the assistance of Regional General Agents and Health Insurance Carrier’s management; we obtained a number of contract agreements that allowed me the ability to join with the Regional production house. I was able to retain the same amount of overall benefits and income as my last employer; plus Partnership, equity, and growth. I have been use to making 6 figures with benefits; including Gas Mileage and Expense Accounts and other fringe benefits.
With your help – I am able to maintain the same Life Style and Focus for Me and My Family Goals.
Thank You !
- Dan

"I really, really like what you and the team have done. It is a big improvement over the thicket of words I have been using. It does a much better job of presenting my skills and history. I look forward to using these new tools.
-Sincerely,
Steve"

"I am belated in conveying my sincere gratitude and kudos to the writers for the *redeaux* as my professional family has dubbed it. It is superior in describing the person, traits and experience I bring to the table, and doesn’t feel like descriptive list of skills. Having helped others (years ago) with their resumes, I know it is documenting details of one not easily extracted to begin with... and I want to applaud you all for how you help many like me, who have lost the ability to rewrite yet again... or feel we have anything fresh yet concise to add.
Please know you are valued and treasured, and I hope you are treated as such by your organization.
Thank you again,
C.R"

"Thank you for your prompt updating... I am ready to roll... I received all my FedEx Documents today. Cross all your fingers and toes, you’ve made this simply a marvelous structure
- G.S"

"You did an excellent job with preparing my documents. I truly appreciate all your hard work.
- A.P"

"Thanks for assisting me in my job search. I was contacted by ‘company’ and a few other companies shortly after I mailed my broadcast letters. I had been unemployed since mid December after returning from Iraq. Although I had used A&A in the past, I thought that I could snatch a position in no time with my new found skills. I start my position on May 15th, roughly one month after I contacted you. I thank God for leading my life and I thank you and A&A for providing the contacts. You were very friendly and prompt. Thank you!
- G.T"

"I just wanted to pass along to you that I got a new job with a company called ‘company’. I'll be a managing producer for their television show in either Orlando or Las Vegas. It's the job I wanted with the pay I wanted and I know it wouldn't have happened without your assistance. Thank you very much for assisting me in taking the next big step for my future.
- J.O"

"As we discussed earlier on the phone, please pass along my compliments and thanks to the writer, Kelly. She has done an outstanding job and I’m very pleased with what she has been able to do for me.
- A.A"

"I have secured a position with ‘company’. I received a call on the first day, interviewed, and was asked to come back to meet the team and closed the deal in one week.
Last week was my first complete week and this week I am in Boston visiting one of our sites.
I will contact you to let you know the details.

Take care
- L.A"

"I was really impressed with the letter that was written. It far exceeded my expectations and I think will be a very valuable marketing tool.
- I.F"

"I wanted to let you know how extremely pleased I was with the work your writers did with reconstructing my professional resume. I was so, impressed that I could not wait for the final Broadcast Letter to be finalized and mailed first to perspective employers. Instead, after receiving the initial draft of my resume, I decided to share it with a few recruiters that specialized in the Property & Casualty Insurance Claim Industry. I immediately received a call the same day and have a very solid lead on a significant leadership position. The next day I received another call and landed an in-person interview for a different executive position.
This is proof that your firm really has the "magic" touch for paving the way for their client's successful career search.

"Six years ago I contacted Allen and Associates to assist me in finding a new job. I met with Kent Miller. I also continued to search the internet and newspapers on my own. I ran across an ad that seemed like the perfect job for me. I emailed and faxed my resume. In my next meeting with Kent, I shared with him about this "perfect job". He convinced me to go out and get the job, not just wait for someone to call me. I was stunned. I had no idea that people actually cold-called for employment.
Long story, short…on Kent’s advice, I cold-called the next morning. I actually interviewed with the CEO that day. Today, six years later, I am still employed with that same company. I never, on my own, would of cold-called a company.
Thank you for seeing the potential in me to make this work!

"I'm very happy to say I've finally found a job with "company!", thank you very much for your help and support.

"I wanted to let you know that I have accepted a job offer. I am the new site lead for "company" Technologies at the "company location" in NJ. Thanks for working with me and supporting me during the job hunt.
Thanks.

"Greetings,
Just to let you all know. I am now working for "company" in Irvine as a Sr. Quality Engineer. Thanks for all your help,

"I have accepted a new job at "company" radio as their Business Manager. The potential for growth is there and the benefits are really good. I have Allen and associates to thank as I found the job on the Meta Job Search. All of the documents have also helped present me in a more professional light. Thank you for your services.
- S.J"

"I happy to inform you that I have accepted a position with "company" in Minneapolis. I will be the General Manager for one of their service centers. Anne - please cancel the 888 number service for my search. Karen - thanks for the guidance during negotiations over the past 3 weeks. I wish you both the best.

"I just wanted to inform you that I accepted a position with "company", pharmaceutical company. A former co-worker has been there for over nine years and her manager has been there for over ten years. The medical/pharmaceutical market has been picking up since January and I am still in the running for two other positions. I've also walked away from 3 positions that were undesirable. Thank you for your assistance.
Sincerely,
- L.H-B"

"I just received an offer from "compnay". I'm thrilled! This is one I wanted!
I owe you and your group a tremendous thank you! I received many positive comments on my resume and because it was so clean most of the interview time was spent on the "meat" rather than rehashing the past. So thank you!
And your availability to me and willingness to "pump" me up prior to the big interviews was invaluable!
I can't tell you how much I appreciate all that you and the group did for me...
I'm in Charlotte until the last week of February. And I'll certainly contact you with new e-mail and phone numbers.
- N.S"

"It is with pleasure that I share with you of how pleased I am with the efforts of Sharon in conjunction with Connan. The resume and cover letter are innovative and creative, though accurate in their presentation, of my accomplishments.
I am hoping to have the resume and cover letters completed today. Then Connan and I agreed we will update the present potential employer list and then get the mailing out. Thank you for providing me with their services.
Sincerely,
- D.N"

"Just wanted to let you know how helpful Allen and Associates has been so far. Their professionally prepared resume and cover letter have been successful in helping me secure three interviews so far, and I also have one Friday, and a second follow-up interview this Saturday, which most likely will lead to a job offer, as I met with the owner yesterday and my interview lasted two hours. It was a perfect match, as they are an accounting firm and I have fun with numbers. Should all go as planned, you will be hearing from me on Monday with a scheduled start date. I also want to thank you for the good references you have given me, and how much it is appreciated. I also have a fall-back position with a second interview with "company" on January 24 at 9am, with the VP of HR for that company, who is flying in from "city" to meet with me.
Please let me know exactly what you want me to do when I have solidified my job offer - as I expect to this Saturday - in terms of notice, etc, and what I need to do to exactly as regards the insurance (my new coverage would kick in after 90 days). Rest assured I have been very busy in my pursuit, but I have made up on my own initiative any time taken off for interviews by coming in early and staying late.
I look forward to talking to you soon. Wish me luck.
Sincerely,
- C.B"

"Just to let you know, I just accepted a job with "company’s" Research Center as its Data Manager. This is a position which I found on Allen's Meta Job Search, and had not seen on other job boards. It was the first company that I interviewed with, it's a great 'fit', and the materials from Allen were very helpful in that process.
Regards,
- C.R"

"I just got an offer from one of the company's that I've been interviewing with. The offer is right around my target so I'm looking for a little advice...I'll try to call you Friday before I call them back. The company is local so no relocation...big plus!
Thanks!!! The broadcast letter was a big hit. Following up with the resume after initial contact worked like a charm. I actually had several compliments on the broadcast letter and its quality. Great Job!

"I want to take this opportunity to thank both you and Allen And Associates for your assistance during my recent job search campaign. In less than 60 days I secured two job offers from great firms.

Your assistance was instrumental in the success of this process. I felt comfortable from the beginning with the plan that was developed and implemented, and I appreciate that you were always available to me for questions during the program. The website features answered my questions well, and provided me with the data that I needed to be competitive in the hunt.

I have accepted a position that is a good fit to my strengths at a substantial increase in both base salary and bonus structure. I attribute this success in a large part to your presentation of my skills, your plan for my job campaign, and your continued support throughout the process. I never felt that I was alone in this process, and I feel fortunate that I had you on my team. I want to let you know that you and your organization have made a positive difference on my life and that of my family. For this I am very grateful.

Sincerely,
- C.P."

"Wonderful news! I’ve accepted a position at Company Name, headquartered in City, CA. As you may know, company name is growing, having acquired two banks recently. My new position will be in product management, overseeing retail banking. The timing for this job is perfect, as my Company Name benefits expire in 16 days.

Unlike my 105 mile daily commute to Company Name in City, I will be 10 minutes from the office and within easy biking distance.

This eight months off has been a great sabbatical. As my #1 job recently has been to find a new one. My best to you,
- M.S."

"Sorry for the delayed response. I have been quite busy with work and did no get a chance to send the success letter. Here are a couple of points about my experience with Allen And Associates.

1. The first thing I learned was the importance of a well written resume and cover/broadcast letter. 2. Most importantly I learned the importance of follow-up during a job search from ALLEN AND ASSOCIATES. This did help me a lot during my job search.

Since I landed a job from one of the companies with Allen And Associates, I will be able to progress in my career. I must admit that the Meta Job search helped me land a couple of interviews too.

Thank you very much for all your efforts

Best Regards,
- V."

"Just wanted to let you know that I am now gainfully employed. I will be the Director of Company Name. This all came about as a result of the broadcast letters that were sent out a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks to you and all of the Allen folks for making this happen!

- D.B."

" I just wanted to say "Thank you" to Allen And Associates, for all your help with my recent career search. I have received an offer of employment with a Company Name in the City, OH area to be their Corporate Controller. This is a career position which has ownership potential. I will start on February 2 and am eager to start. I am sure that I would not have gotten this position without your help.

Please pass this on to all the good people who helped me.

Thank you,
- D.P."

"I have been offered and accepted the position of Executive Director of the Company Name, pending Board approval on January 27th. I was the unanimous selection of the Search and Executive Committees and have been told that Board approval should just be a formality. I will let you know if that changes.

This has been in the works for a few weeks with a lot of networking efforts behind that scenes. All indications had been that I was the favorite from the initial interview and behind the scenes networking that I had done.

The initial salary is within the range that you provided, and I get a 6-month review for an upgrade. More importantly, I am being given the opportunity to put my skills to work in an organization that really makes a day-to-day impact in peoples' lives.

Thank you so much for your assistance in the search process. If my situation should change, I will certainly contact you and Allen And Associates to help in my next search.

Thanks again for all of your help and support!

M.M."

"The interviews went very well last week. I went into a personal interview at Company Name and they like me enough for a second interview. I spoke with Company Name HR over the phone and they were interested as well. The CEO of Company Name actually called me this morning for a second phone interview! I was relaxed and think he was impressed. He indicated that I was in the running to be flown to Atlanta for a personal interview.

I'm now working diligently on getting your team the rest of my info. It is such a relief to have your support. I don't feel like I "must" take a position. It's more like looking for the "right" position. You're right too, I do use the word "I" an awful lot when writing. I'll have to work on that!

- L.K."

"I am writing to thank you for your help during my recent job search. As you are probably well aware, networking can provide many results ranging from "extremely helpful" to "very disappointing", and without question, you were one of the "very helpful" ones.

Thank you very much for your willingness and effort to help. I am very grateful and appreciative.

My new responsibilities include corporate development, M&A and strategic planning.

- J."

"It has been a while but I am very happy to report that the campaign you designed has been a SUCCESS !!!! I interviewed (multiple times with each) with four companies and received two offers. I´m back in the job market on a full-time, permanent basis. I´m so HAPPY. And, Thank you for the well-written documents as I received many compliments about them.

Take care.
- R."

"I want to formally thank you for your prompt response in various occasions and the invaluable insight you and your support staff provided me in preparation for interviews.

You would be pleased to know that I have recommended your company, Allen And Associates and its services, as a great tool for job searching purposes. Again, thank you so much for your friendly and excellent service.

Sincerely,
- N.P.

"I wanted to let you know that I accepted a senior sw position with Company Name. Thanks for all you help and support, and I am looking forward to stay in touch with you.

Best regards,

"Thank you so much for your help. Not only did I end up with the offer I wanted, but I learned so much in the process.

Here's what happened:
The HR people and I agreed a range of $47-$53k. The offer came in at $42 with some stock options and a bonus program. I wondered if something had gone wrong. My references are great and I'm certainly no criminal, so there must have been a misunderstanding. I was able to put them in a position of pulling me away from Company Name A and Company Name B and I couldn't have done that without your coaching.

The end result was a counter-offer for $46 plus more stock options, which I took in an instant. There won't be too much of a difference between the two salaries, but there is a huge difference in the way I feel about the job....and how I feel about myself as a person for making sure I am in a fair and equitable situation.

The one thing I was not prepared to do was accept the offer on speaker phone with the CTO, my new hiring manager, and three HR staff people in the room. I don't know how to behave on speaker phone! : )

I'm going to the Company Name B interview before this job starts at Company Name, so you may be hearing from me in another few months. I might not be able to pursue Company Name A because of the date conflict.

I really can't thank you enough. You both have been such an tremendous help to me.

Sincerely,
- E.M."

"After 4 long month, I was able to receive 3 very interesting job offers, all of which I would have liked to take.

The best one - which I signed today, is with Company Name. They are a well established X years old Family owned business of CA.700 employees here in City. They created a Marketing Director Role for me, which underlines their long term interest in my contributions. Also, compared to the next best offer from Company Name in City. I will be able to balance my work and private life better (my third son will arrive in April).

Let me thank you for your support at this point. You are great resources to have when hunting for a job.

All the best to you,
A.S."

" I have taken a position with a Chicago Firm. Company Name. It is a very good position with a base of $80,000 and bonus up to $200,000.

Thanks for your help. It was a good experience.

"Things are going really well with my new position as Director, Donor Relations & Special Events at Company Name. I am in the midst of planning the annual black tie fund raising gala in June, so they are keeping me quite busy. Thank you so much for your help with my job search. The materials and guidance from you and your team at Allen And Associates were instrumental in helping me land this position.

- L."

"I would like to take this opportunity inform you that I have landed recently as the Director of Compensation for Company Name.

Thank you for all your support and assistance during my job search. It has been quite an interesting journey during the past year or so. I have learned quite a lot during this time about myself, what I'm up to in my life and what I want my life to be about. During this time, some of you shared with me your words of wisdom and others have provided me with guidance and friendship. For that, I thank you.

I wish us all the best and much success in our pursuits and endeavors.

Thank you once again for your generous support.

- P."
